The problem

The customer’s private pole rusted at the base and fell over. As a result, the pole fell over. The live overhead cabling fell onto the roadway.  This posed a major hazard for traffic and put lives at risk of electrocution. Luckily Ausgrid was called to immediately isolate the supply.

The solution

The customer contacted us and we were almost immediately. With our specialised trucks and equipment, we were able to do the following.

1. Remove the redundant defect, Pole.
2. Install a new Galvanised Pole.
3. Core Drilling through Solid Rock.
4. Install a new 3 phase overhead service to from the network supply to the customers property.
5. Clear a Defect notice issued to the customer by the Network owner Ausgrid.

We had all the above works completed within 8 hrs of the customer losing Power.
