The problem

During the construction of a new home, the customer’s temporary builder’s power pole had been installed in the incorrect location by another contractor. Following an inspection, Ausgrid issued a defect notice requiring the installation to be rectified within 21 days or risk disconnection of the property’s electricity supply. With construction already underway, the customer needed a fast, compliant solution to avoid costly delays.

Rather than replacing the entire temporary power installation, our team carefully removed the existing temporary builder’s pole and relocated it to a compliant position in accordance with Ausgrid requirements. Once relocated, we completed all necessary testing and documentation before coordinating with Ausgrid to have the defect notice cleared.
